Seattle, Washington
Located in one of Seattle’s most urban neighborhoods, the design of Walton Lofts was inspired by the contrast of the hard, grey concrete of the city and the bright, panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Incredible views of the Puget Sound informed design decisions throughout the process: heavily grained wood, steel framed windows looking out to the craggy Olympic mountain range, and organically shaped furniture define the space as simultaneously interior and exterior, natural and man-made. Working closely with both Shoesmith Cox Architects and the Schuster Group helped to bring a cohesive, but multilayered aesthetic to this property.
